Managing Director - Joel E. Okafor |
Mr. Okafor is a distinction graduate of accountancy and an associate member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (winner 2nd prize merit award). He also holds an MBA from the Delta State University. He has over the years developed several complimentary competencies in investment banking and financial services in such areas as financial control, risk management, branch expansion, corporate finance, investment management and securities dealing.
Mr. Okafor started his banking career in 1993 with Crystal Bank of Africa Limited (later became Standard Trust Bank/UBA). He later worked for Owena Bank (Nigeria) Plc (now spring Bank Plc) in 1996 before joining BGL Limited in 1998. He worked in BGL for 8 years before leaving as an Assistant Vice President to join Greenwich Trust Limited as Vice President, Capital Markets, overseeing corporate finance, asset management and securities trading. Okafor has attended several national and international courses and is an authorized dealing clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange.He is presently the Managing Director/CEO of Securities Solutions Limited.

Executive Director: Mr. Appeh A. Auta II |
Mr. Auta Appeh – Auta started his career in 1986 as a commodities trader for Cargill, Inc., the largest commodities and privately held company in the world.From 1989-1993, he was a Commodities Manager at CPC International, the global corn refining company which later became Bestfoods.In 1994, he founded the Triarm Healthcare Company, which provided in-home healthcare services in the U.S. and facilitated sales of medical equipment to Africa.Mr. Auta holds a B.S. in Agri-Business from Florida A&M University and an MBA from the University of San Francisco.
Is an experienced Commodities Trader and a well accomplished entrepreneur. He ran business all over North America and the eastern coast of Africa in Health Care and Information Technology. He is currently an Executive Director at SSL. |

Head, Capital Markets: - Mr. Martins Abimbola Ogunbanjo |
Mr Bimbo Ogunbanjo is a Chartered Stockbroker with over 10 years experiential qualification. He attended University of Ibadan and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy and Political Science (Second Class Upper Division) and Masters of Science (M.sc) degree in International Economic Relations.
He is currently doing MBA degree programme in International Business and Corporate Governance at the Lagos State University and National Open University of Nigeria respectively. He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.
Bimbo has written numerous articles in reputable books and journals on the Stock Market, Globalization, Development, Management and International Economic Relations.

Mr. Aminu Ibrahim Yakassai (Financial Controller) |
Mr. Aminu is a graduate of Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (1978) and also obtained his masters degree in Accounting & Finance from University of Stirrling U.K in 1983. He started is working career in 1979 with the defunct Bank of the North as an officer trainee. He then proceeded to NAL Merchant Bank Limited in 1987 where he joined as an assistant manager in accounts and finance department, rose to the position of Deputy Manager in June 1987 in charge of salaries, reconciliation preparation of CBN and promoted to the position of a manager in June 1989.Joined defunct New Africa Merchant Bank in 1989 as a Senior Manager as Head of Treasury and Finance Division. However further rose to the post of Assistant General Manager and Acting GM in 1991 and headed the Head office division before retiring in August 1995
Mr. Aminu has acquired various experiences in accounting and has attended several local and overseas courses. He is an associate member of institute of forensic accountants, institute of financial accountants U.K, institute of chartered economists of Nigeria and member Institute of Cost Management Accountant and other professional bodies. He also served on the Interim Management Committee at Triumph Bank Plc on appointment by CBN in replacement of the Management and Board of that Bank prior to its liquidation before his appointment at SSL. |
